Eva Peron Museum

Eva Peron was born in 1919, the same year my mother was born. She died of cancer when she was 33, the age my mother was when I was born. She grew up in a small town, moved to Buenos Aires and became an actress--met her husband Juan Peron at a political rally, married and then overnight became a most famous first lady. Her championing of the needs and dignity of the poor made her a controversial, yet well-loved woman. Her foundations endeavored to meet the needs of the disenfranchized all over the world...
Refrigerators for the masses.
Children at a camp with a toy car...
One of Eva´s many hot outfits...(all displayed with matching hats and shoes)
Her funeral (projecting on full screen as one enters the exhibit)
